Suspect arrested after South Eugene manhunt

      EUGENE, Ore. - Police swarmed a south Eugene neighborhood after a report of a burglary in progress Monday.

      Police established a perimeter around 27th Avenue and Willamette Street during the noon hour.

      Officers were trying to find a suspect in a home break-in spotted by an off-duty officer who thought the man was acting strangely.

      Cameron Edward Stansberry, 20, was arrested after a foot pursuit for resisting arrest, menacing, criminal trespass in the second degree, theft in the third degree, interfering with police and a probation violation for assault in the third degree.
