Sheriff seeks tips in string of Coos County burglaries
CHARLESTON, Ore. - Deputies investigating a string of burglaries need the public's help identifying two suspects caught on camera inside on the homes.
They were also caught on microphone: one of the suspects repeatedly calls the other "Mike".
Investigators hope the public can help identify the suspect.
There have been at least 10 open residential burglaries near Charleston and along Cape Arago Highway in the past three weeks, the Coos County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.
"The suspects have targeted homes that appear to be vacation type homes," the sheriff's office said in a statement. "Many of the items taken from the homes include home electronics, tools and household goods."
