Roseburg Fire Department responds to structure fire on Sunday morning
ROSEBURG, Ore. — Early on Sunday morning, the Roseburg Fire Department was dispatched to a residential structure fire at 1341 NE Newton Creek Road.
The structure fire was reported by a passerby, and it was confirmed that the structure was unoccupied at the time.
Firefighters arrived on scene to find a fully engulfed two-story home on fire. They quickly extinguished the fire and completed the overhaul, and were able to protect the surrounding homes from damage.
The structure, which is valued at $225,000, sustained significant structural and water damage. A motorcycle inside the garage was also destroyed during the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
