Red Cross assists Myrtle Creek residents after home fire
MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. – The American Red Cross is assisting five Myrtle Creek residents affected by a fire Saturday evening.
According to the Red Cross, emergency personnel responded to the 600 block of NE Johnson Street around 5:30 p.m. for the report of a fire.
Officials say the fire affected three adults and two children.
The Red Cross will provide the residents with resources to address their immediate needs including temporary housing, food, clothing, comfort kits with toiletry items, information about recovery services, and health and mental health services.
