SUTHERLIN, Ore. -- Police in Sutherlin arrested a man Thursday night, after they say he fired shots from a .357 revolver into the ground during a disturbance.
Just before 10:30 pm, officers from Sutherlin, along with Sheriff's deputies and Oregon State Police went to a residence in the 2000 block of Golview Avenue for the reported disturbance.
Police say that when they arrived, Danny Joel Marsh, 53, of Sutherlin, fired two shots into the ground and then went back inside the house.
A short time later, officers say Marsh came out and again fired two shots into the ground from his revolver.
Police say they ordered him to surrender and he was safely taken into custody.
Marsh was taken to the Douglas County Jail where he was lodged, charged by officers with unlawful use of a weapon, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct.
