TOLEDO, Ore. - Two children and 4 adults got hurt when their pickup lost control and crashed on Highway 20 east of Toledo on Tuesday night.
The driver, Quan Lien, 55, of Newport was cited for failure to drive within the lane, state police said.
Lien and 5 others were in the 2002 Toyota Tundra pikcup when the truck went onto the highway shoulder around &:45 p.m.
Lien lost control of the truck before over-correcting, which sent the truck across the highway, police said. It rolled and came to a stop blocking the highway.
The pickup's six occupants, 4 adults and 2 small children, were all transported by ambulance to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The other adults were identified as Linh Lien, 55; Hecotr Lopez, 31; and Eliva Zarate, 28.
All are from Newport and were using safety restraints, police said.
The highway was blocked about 90 minutes while rescue workers responded to the accident.
