Photographer's light sets off sprinklers at 5th Street Market

EUGENE, Ore. - A photographer's light got too hot too close to a sensor and triggered the sprinklers at a downtown store.

The Fifth Street Public Market was briefly evacuated Thursday morning after a photographer shooting merchandise at Hartwick's set off the sprinklers.

Fire crews responded to the scene.

People could be seen hauling buckets of water out of the building.

The owner of Hartwick's told KVAL News some merchandise was damaged.
