ODOT: Hwy 99 closed by 'law enforcement investigation' north of Monroe
MONROE, Ore. - Transportation officials say travelers can expect a lengthy closure on Highway 99 north of Monroe due to a "law enforcement investigation and reconstruction."
The highway is closed in both directions 7 miles north of Monroe, Oregon DOT said in a statement.
"A detour has been set up at the north end at OR99W and Greenberry Road and at the south end at OR 99W and Dawson Road," according to ODOT.
The road was back open at 7:45 p.m.
Details about the investigation are not yet confirmed.
