EUGENE, Ore. -- After a hard night of ringing in 2014, many Eugene residents were looking for a place that could serve up something to help with their hangover.
While the crystal ball dropping and champagne popping might be a distant memory to some in Dakoda Haugan's group, they all awokewith one thing on their mind - getting in a good breakfast.
They decided on Brail's in south Eugene.
"It's cheap, it's close, it's greasy," said Dakoda. "My brain feels good but this coffee is helping. This is the best place in town for a hangover."
Eugene Weekly readers agree, voting it the best hangover breakfast spot for the last 10 years running.
Brail's staff says New Year's Day is one of their busiest times of the year.
That's why Dakota said it was necessary to plan ahead for their yearly recovery breakfast.
"I made a reservation because there was a lot of us," Haugan said.
