Missing: Sweet Home man never returned from camping trip; car found abandoned
LANE COUNTY, Ore. —
Law enforcement has asked for the public's help in tracking down 28-year-old Daniel Oberg, a Sweet Home man who never returned from a camping trip the weekend of April 22.
According to a Lane County Sheriff's Office report, Oberg was going camping with a friend or two, and may have dogs with him. (See photos at the top of this story.)
Family reported him missing when he hadn't returned by April 25.
Authorities found Oberg's car abandoned in the Marcola area and searched nearby, but have yet to locate him.
The report said he's known to camp in the Quartzville Recreation Corridor in Linn County.
