Missing man last seen at Albany restaurant

KEIZER, Ore. - State police are asking for the public's help finding a missing Keizer man who has not been seen since he dropped his brother off in Albany on Saturday evening.

Robert Allen Knupp, 53, drove his brother to a restaurant in the Albany area and dropped him off. He has not been seen since, according to police.

His car, a 1993 Geo Metro, was found locked at a rest area along Interstate 5 south of Salem.

Police say there is no evidence that Knupp's disappearance is related to a crime. Knupp's family says his behavior is out of character and he recently began taking newly prescribed medications.

Knupp is described as a white man who is 5-foot-11 and 215 pounds. He has brown, salt-and-pepper hair and a short beard. He was last seen wearing a blue Hawaiian-style shirt, khaki pants, white socks and brown leather shoes.

Anyone with information about Knupp is asked to call Oregon State Police at 800-452-7888.
