NORTH BEND, Ore. - The man found dead from a gunshot wound to the head outside a birthday party at a community center has been identified.
Investigators said he had another man's ID on him at the time of his death.
"It turns out that the ID was probably stolen or borrowed," district attorney Paul Frasier said Monday, "because we found the right guy and he's alive."
The victim has been positively ID'd as Luis Mario Castillo Murillo, 21, Frasier said Tuesday.
The man, who worked in the area for a reforestation company, died from a single gunshot wound to the head.
In the wake of the shooting, police arrested Miguel Alejandro Iniguez. Charges against him will go before a grand jury next week, Frasier said.
