Man accused of sexually abusing minors in Lebanon
LEBANON, Ore. - A 43-year-old man faces accusations he sexually abused two minors between 2007 and 2009, Lebanon Police said.
Law enforcement took Jeffrey James Allen into custody at his job in Gilchrist, Oregon, police said.
"Allen attempted to flee, then fought with officers while they were trying to take him into custody," police said in a statement. "Additional charges are expected to follow."
Allen was taken into custody on four counts of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, one count of Attempted Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the First Degree, two counts of Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the First Degree, and one count of Attempted Rape in the First Degree.
The charges resulted from an investigation into accusations "that Allen had inappropriate contact with a minor between 2007 and 2009," police said. "During the course of the investigation, one additional victim was identified. Both victims were minors at the time of the alleged crimes and were known to Allen."
