EUGENE, Ore. - Hustle and bustled filled the Lane County Fairgrounds on Monday as people prepared for this week's fair.
Exhibits, amusements and animals started to arrive.
"We also have OMSI here with a great touch and feel area for the kids," said Rachel Bivens, the director of marketing. "Ot's an area for parents to just sit and rest - let the little ones run around."
Bivens said going to the Fair is a great tradition for families.
"I love to watch all the families come in during the day," she said. "They come in, they interact and the kids run around and have a great time. I know my kids come enjoy it with me when I'm working, so that's my favorite part."
The concert series this year is headlined by the Spin Doctors and Cheap Trick. The concerts are free with paid admission.
You can get a pass to the fair in advance for $20 or for $25 at the gate.
The fair starts on Wednesday and goes through the weekend.
