K-9 helps deputies find cocaine, 14 pounds of pot during traffic stop

PORTLAND, Ore. - Sheriff's deputies arrested two Myrtle Creek, Ore. men during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 after a drug detecting K-9 named Spencer helped deputies find 14 pounds of marijuana and a half pound of cocaine in their SUV.

Multnomah County sheriff's deputies stopped a Toyota Tundra on I-84 eastbound at milepost 11 at around 5:20 p.m. on Friday. Spencer alerted the deputies of drugs in the SUV.

Deputies arrested Francisco Flores, 24, and Anthony George White, 29, on drug charges. Both suspects were taken to the Multnomah County Jail.

Deputies said the pair also had more than $32,000 in cash.
