Homeowner: 'When he saw my gun he ran out'
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A man walked into his kitchen in west Roseburg Wednesday morning, and says there was a man sitting at his table eating his food.
The homeowner, who asked not to be identified, says he was home alone in his house on Center Street off Harvard Ave., and walked in to find a black male eating his food.
The man says he is a retired federal agent, and had a gun on his person when he found the stranger in his kitchen.
He says when the man saw his gun he ran out of the house.
Douglas County Communications sent out a call to nearby residents, asking them to keep an eye out.
Authorities did not locate the intruder, and are continuing to investigate, the homeowner said.
