Have you seen him? Police seek missing Oakland man

OAKLAND, Ore. -- A family reported one of its members missing to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office on Thursday after they hadn't contacted him in over two weeks, officials said.

Detectives said that Brian Trumbo, 27, was reported to have left his Oakland home on December 11 driving a green Ford Expedition. His family said that he was taking a trip to the Eugene area.

During the investigation, detectives learned that on December 12 (a day later), the Lane County Sheriff's Office found Trumbo's Expedition abandoned in a creek bed near Dorena Lake.

LCSO said that they didn't locate Trumbo during their investigation of the vehicle.

Trumbo is described as a white male, 5'8" weighing 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos in the insides of his forearms and has a visible surgical scar on the right side of his head, just above his ear. Trumbo wears a pair of dark-framed glasses.
