Freezing fog in forecast: 'Possible slick spots on roads and sidewalks'
EUGENE, Ore. - A Freezing Fog Advisory is in effect for the southern Willamette Valley until noon Thursday, the National Weather Service in Portland said.
Visibility of less than 1/4 mile is possible, coupled with "possible slick spots on roads and sidewalks."
"A Freezing Fog Advisory means that very light ice accumulation is possible due to freezing fog," forecasters said. "If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you."
