SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Hundreds picked up some great book deals at the Springfield Library on Friday and Saturday - all while giving back to the community.
The fourth annual Friends of the Library Book Sale offered up thousands of titles all priced at under two dollars, ranging from children's books, best sellers, and some classics.
Book buyers like Cara Hogervorst said they love the opportunity to help out the local library.
"We're homeschoolers so getting books is an important part of our education for our kids so we always enjoy it," Hogervorst said.
Volunteers that organized the sale said the proceeds will help with library needs and replenishing their selection with new titles.
The cash-only sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and volunteers remind you to bring a bag to carry your books.
