Did you feel that? Two earthquakes recorded in Oregon
EUGENE, Ore. -- Two small-scale earthquakes hit Oregon on Friday, the US Geological Survey said.
The first quake was recorded just before 6:20 a.m. Friday. The 3.3 magnitude earthquake was about 120 miles off the Oregon Coast, paralleling the Oregon/California border.
A small amount of seismic activity was also recorded about 15 miles north of Eugene. A preliminary report said that the 2.0 magnitude earthquake started after 2:20 p.m. Friday.
The USGS recorded the epicenter at around 15 miles north of Eugene, or 4 miles northwest of Junction City.
As of yet, there have been no damages associated with the earthquakes.
