Did a bicyclist hit your car July 10? Police ask you to call
EUGENE, Ore. - Police want to contact a driver whose car got hit by a bicycle Wednesday afternoon.
Around noon, a 20-year-old woman on a bicycle without brakes hit a white or silver sedan near 18th and Hilyard, police said.
The driver stopped to check on the bicyclist, who said she was OK, police said. The two went their separate ways without exchanging information, police said.
The bicyclist was later taken to the hospital, police said.
Eugene Police said the patrol officer who investigated the crash would like to facilitate an information exchange between the driver and bicyclist. Police ask the driver to call Officer Teresa Barrong at (541) 913-9671.
