DA: North Bend man indicted on murder charge

COQUILLE, Ore. -- The man that authorities say shot and killed his wife in their North Bend home has been indicted by a Coos County grand jury.

Coos County District Attorney Paul Frasier says Wayne Hagner was indicted on one count of murder and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Hagner will be in court Monday morning for his official arraignment.

Authorities say Hagner's wife died as a result of a single gunshot wound to the head.
