SEASIDE, Ore. -- A couple who left an envelope of meth as a tip for a waitress have found out that may not have been such a good idea.
Seaside Police arrested Ryan Benson and Erica Manley on Friday after being contacted by a waitress at the Twisted Fish Steakhouse.
"They left her an envelope and when she saw what was inside she contacted us," Chief Bob Goss told KATU. "Based on what was there we got a search warrant for their car and hotel room where we discovered more meth and the equipment to manufacture more."
Manley was also found with approximately 17 ounces of meth in her purse.
Benson and Manley are charged with possession and manufacturing of meth.
Manley is also charged with delivery.
