Cottage Grove PD: Woman with medical needs goes missing with son
COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. -- Officers are asking for help in finding a 67-year-old Cottage Grove woman and her adult son after the pair went missing early Friday morning.
Family members said Lana Brazzell, 67, of Cottage Grove, needs an oxygen mask to breathe properly and family members say she left her tank of oxygen at home.
The family told police that Brazzell's son, 36-year-old Jesse Chase, has "non-specific medical conditions."
Cottage Grove Police said Brazzell and Chase left their house between 6:30 and 8:30 a.m. Friday and may be trying to get to California. Police are still trying to confirm why Brazzell and Chase left and where they are headed.
Brazzell is described as about 5' 4" tall, 118 pounds with long gray hair. Chase is around 6'2", 185 pounds with long brown hair.
