COQUILLE, Ore. -- For the first time since being arrested, all three men accused of beating a homeless Coos Bay man to death late last month appeared in court together.
Michael Gertson, Jessie Longhenry and George Ivanoff were formally indicted Tuesday morning.
The men are accused of the murder of Jesse Hayes.
The Coos County District Attorney says each man will be tried separately.
Before heading back to jail, Gertson turned to his family sitting in the audience and told them, "I love you, come visit me."
Not guilty pleas have been entered for all three men.
Their attorneys are expected to get their first look at some of the evidence against the men in the coming weeks.
