SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - Two people got hurt when a Honda crossed the center line and collided head-on with an oncoming Lincoln on Monday afternoon just before 4, police said.
Investigators said Nicole Anna Jenkins, 24, of Springfield drove across the center line on Franklin Boulevard near McVay Highway and collided head-on with a car driven by 51-year-old Jay Harold Jones of Creswell.
Firefighters pulled Jenkins from the wreckage of her car and took her to the hospital with a head injury and two broken legs, police said.
Jones suffered injuries to his knee and neck, police said. He was also sent to the hospital.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
