Trader Joe's pulls peanut butter off shelves over salmonella

PORTLAND, Ore. - Grocery chain Trader Joe's is voluntarily recalling a certain kind of peanut butter over health concerns.

The stores have pulled all jars of Trader Joe's brand Creamy Salted Valencia Peanut Butter and said it may be contained with salmonella.

In a post on their website, the chain said they have pulled the product "due to pending health-related inquiries" and "out of an abundance of caution."

There have been no reports of illness connected with the product.

Trader Joe's is asking customers to return the product to stores for a full refund or just throw the product away.
