'I got a speeding ticket on the way, but it's worth it': Fans flock to Portugal. The Man
EUGENE, Ore. -- The McDonald Theatre hosted a Grammy Award-winning band Thursday night.
Portland-based Portugal. The Man made Eugene the first stop on their world tour.
Fresh off their win for Best Pop Duo or Group performance for their hit single "Feel It Still," fans lined up as early as 3:30 for the 9 p.m. show.
The box office says tickets sold out a few days prior, but some fans found other ways to get their hands on tickets.
"Actually, we got them yesterday. This guy was selling them on Craigslist. So if you're watching this, thanks for the tickets," said fan Kiera Wilson.
Some bought the tickets during the pre-sale for $40, but Thursday it cost them a little extra.
“I was shooting to be here at 5-ish, but I didn’t get here until six because I actually got a speeding ticket on the way, but it's worth it,” said fan Elijah Porter.
This will be the bands only stop in Oregon.
If you want to see them, they're next stop is Vancouver, British Columbia.
