Tasty Tuesday: KunFusion Revisited
The last time I stopped by Kun Fusion, they were a crazy-busy, burrito-slinging food truck. But, they wanted more.
"We had this crazy dream, this KunFus-ing dream" owner Shawn Werner said.
They wanted a restaurant.
"Well, I don't know if WE wanted a restaurant, to be honest, but our fans, those big lines and our followers, wanted a restaurant," Shawn said.
He got his wish. Now, Kun Fusion is a crazy-busy, burrito slinging restaurant!
"Oh, has it been crazy and has it been nuts," Shawn said.
Crazy and nuts, much like their food- but in a good way! Like mad scientists, they combine Korean and Mexican flavors, piling house-made nachos high and crafting chock-full, giant burritos.
Despite the location change, Kun Fusion is still serving fan favorites. They still have burritos; kyros, their twist on a gyro, and their Grown-Up Grilled Cheese.
One year later and Kun Fusion's dream has come true. They have a restaurant! It's a big step for a place with big personality.
