Meet Squeek the cat: 'I am a grand 22 years old'

"I am an amazing older gentleman who charms all who meet me," Squeak "said" through his friends at Greenhill. "I am a grand 22 years old, but you would never know it to look at me. I look and act like a cat half my age."

You never know you might meet at Greenhill Humane Society.

KVAL News is broadcasting live from the animal shelter June 22 for the Tail-A-Thon to raise money for the renovation and expansion of the care facilities.

And that's where we met Squeek.

"I am an amazing older gentleman who charms all who meet me," Squeek "said" through his friends at Greenhill. "I am a grand 22 years old, but you would never know it to look at me. I look and act like a cat half my age."

This is his second stay at the shelter: He was adopted out at age 17 but returned after his owner passed away.

"I know that there is another person or family out there who would love to give a home to a Senior cat who still has a lot of life to live and a lot of love to give. I am very affectionate and love making kitty dough and getting my tummy rubbed. I have done well in the past with other cats and dogs and would like to live indoor only or in a relatively safe indoor/outdoor situation. I have been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), but it is managed with relatively inexpensive daily medication. If you would like more information about this, please speak with cattery staff. I hope to be makin' kitty biscuits for you soon!"
