'We're looking to find loving homes for them for the holidays'
EUGENE, Ore. - Lane County rescued 98 small dogs from a hoarder in west Lane County this year.
That number became 111 after some of the dogs had puppies.
Nearly all of the chihuahuas that wound up at Greenhill Humane Society have been adopted out, including some of the puppies.
Two more will be up for adoption on Friday.
"They've been spayed and neutered," said Sasha Elliott with Greenhill. "They're up to date on all vaccinations, and we're looking to find loving homes for them for the holidays."
Greenhill is closed on Thursdays but re-opens Friday at 11 a.m. for anyone who wants to meet the pups.
