Local firefighters prepare to climb 69 stories
JUNCTION CITY, Ore. -- Hundreds of firefighters prepare for the 26th Annual Scott Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle on Sunday; and some of them are headed up from Lane County.
Firefighters climb the Columbia Tower, the second tallest building west of the Mississippi at 69 stories.
The climb is an annual fundraiser to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
