Today's question comes from Aida.
"With back to school right around the corner, my daughter is starting to have a lot of anxiety. Lots of summer assignments and fear of the unknown is really bothering her. Any suggestions?"
First suggestion...how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time?
Do the smallest task first so you can feel successful to moving on to the next in regard to summer assignments.
In response to her anxiety about the first day back to school, do a guided visualization and have her describe how the perfect day would look.
And third, set goals for the year and discuss how to accomplish those goals.
