Gandhi's grandson visits LCC
EUGENE, Ore. - It was standing room only at Lane Community College. Hundreds gathered to hear a speech from Dr. Arun Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi's grandson.
Gandhi went to live with his grandfather at the age of 12.
He spoke about the lessons he was taught by his grandfather and parents, hoping to spread the message of nonviolence.
After the presentation, Dr. Arun Gandhi took questions from the audience and even stuck around for a book signing.
If you missed out on his presentation here in Eugene you may be able to catch him in Portland. He'll be speaking at the Wholistic Peace Institute on February 25.
