Corvallis store robbed at gunpoint

CORVALLIS, Ore. - A gunman who robbed a convenience store Wednesday evening should be considered armed and dangerous, the sheriff's office said.

The Benton County Sheriff's Office hopes someone will recognize the suspect.

The clerk at Country Market and Deli, 310 NW 53rd Street, said the robbery entered the store, pulled a gun and demanded money.

The sheriff's office, Corvallis Police and the Oregon State Police responded to search the area, to no avail.

The suspect is a man about 5-foot-10 with a thin mustache and small goatee. He was wearing white shoes, blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and a grey beanie hat.
